Congratulations to Jamie Chilcott on his selection the England under15 squad.  Congratulations also to Declan Balmer, Bobby Chamberlain and Liam Charnock for selection to the England under 13's team.  The 13's will be heading for Quebec in February for probably the best junior hockey tournament anywhere. I can say from first hand experience that they are in for a real treat.

Good Luck to Richard Haggar and Ben Lowe, and defenceman Andy Dunn who will be icing for the Stingrays at the weekend. It's great to see players who have come up through the junior teams getting a chance to play at this level.

Congratulations to Jamie Chilcott on being voted as Hull Daily Mail Hotshot of the year in the under 14's category. Lets keep proper sport up there!

Who's minding the net?  Jack Dalby takes a time out to visit the tombola stand at the first annual KJIHC international tournament. Its a good mixture of old friends as well as teams who we don't usually get a chance to play against from Scotland and the South.  Currently the Kingston 16's are unbeaten in first position and the 14's are highly placed.  It all comes down to the playoff games today.  Watch this space for more on the tournament, including pictures and stats.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
